Flower Tear Drops

The rain came down
echoing my sadness.
Tears from heaven
mourning my loss.
Flowers that she loved
held the tears,
crying for me.
Sensing my anguish
buried deep within;
The heavens showered me,
soaking me through
Giving some comfort
when much was needed.
The missing piece…
Mom
She could name
every flower.
